Neha is the Children’s Teacher in CEDC. Although now a staff member, Neha has been part of the centre since she was a child. As a young girl, she frequently attended the centre to learn English.
She recalls “I was always very punctual because I really wanted to learn English. That’s what motivated me the most.”
Neha believes her early experience in CEDC allowed her to become more confident in herself. In particular, she feels she learned a lot and gained confidence from the classes she attended. After school Neha went on to complete courses in political science and graphic design. Then as an adult, felt she wanted to contribute to the centre:
“I thought I could do my best with the children, teach them what I know.”
Neha lives in the area and teaches every day from 2-5pm. She has a classroom of up to 40 children, all of whom are from different age groups and backgrounds
